I’m devoting the weekend of November 21 and 22nd to holiday mini sessions for your holiday card needs! What’s a mini session you ask? It’s a great way to save on your portrait needs by participating in an outdoor photo shoot with other individuals. You will have a dedicated 1 hour session with the photographer in the chosen location. This saves me traveling around to many places and saves you the money of an private session (but you still get your scheduled 1 hour!)

I’m toying around with the idea of one day devoted to the South Shore (at an outdoor location in Hingham or surrounding area) and one day in Boston (location TBD). Contact me if you’d be interested in a Boston shoot.

Mini session package price of $125.00 includes:

  • 1 hour session, time and talent of the photographer
  • Up to 5 people per session.
  • 3 fully edited images for you to use in your holiday card and gift needs. You have full rights to these images.
  • The option to purchase additional images at $15.00 per additional image
  • 10% off professional print prices (price list will be confirmed with booking)

If you’d be interested in booking one of these mini sessions please let me know! These can be used for family pictures, engagement pictures or any other portrait need.  I will be taking bookings as needed and may offer another set of mini sessions closer to the holidays.

I’m not a studio photographer, I’m just not. I like the natural feel of being outside. One of my favorite places to take pictures is World’s End in Hingham, MA.

I spent some time in Westerly Rhode Island this weekend with a wonderful family and an overly active dog who loved. to. swim. The current in that river was STRONG and she never tired!

I’m currently tossing the idea around of doing some mini sessions in the upcoming months. Current ideas are:

1. Glimpse of Santa Christmas Portraits
2. Halloween costume sessions (You forked over the money for those costumes-let’s remember them!)

I’m also thinking about renting out a studio in Quincy for a day to do numerous sessions in a place with great light. I’m always on the look out for new places to take pictures, so if anyone knows of any barns or open spaces with lots of light in the South Shore of MA area for day rental, please let me know! IF they barter, even better ;)

Hi everyone!

I’m happy to say I’m picking up the glass again and have gotten over my ‘break up’ with my camera. In the spring I shot a large event, something I’d never done before. I got totally burnt out from editing down over a thousand pictures to about 150, fully processed. It was a drain on me, who works a full time job as well as my photography business!

So I took a break. But that break is over now. :)

I wanted to share a few shots from a past session with 2 sisters.

This weekend I’ll be taking shots for a group that is near and dear to my heart, the Junior League of Boston. When I lived in Boston from 1999-2004 the Junior League was an important part of my life.  I was on numerous commitees and made some great friends I”ll cherish forever.  I was asked to shoot their annual ball fund raiser. This year the theme is ‘Service in the City’. I know it is going to be a great time!!!

The Junior League is all over the country (and world, I was a member in London!) so if you’re interested in getting involved in the community, check it out!
